ICP's One-Year Certificate Programs offer advanced students an intensive year to strengthen their vision, refine techniques, and explore the many disciplines informing media and art today.
Students can choose between two onsite tracks: Creative Practices or Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism.
Onsite classes take place at ICP in the creative community on the Lower East Side.
ICP is an SEVP-authorized institution, we provide Form I-20 to international students obtaining F-1 student visa for full-time study and can accept I-20 transfers.

Develop your unique visual voice and complete a significant portfolio project, preparing you to excel in visual storytelling.
Gain the skills, creativity, and social awareness needed to advance your career as an impactful image maker.
Present your work in an end-of-year exhibition, showcasing your long-term projects from the program.
Participate in a portfolio review with leading photo editors, curators, and established photographers from the ICP community.
Leadership support for exhibitions, education, public programs and community programs at the International Center of Photography is provided by our Trustees, ICP Collections and Exhibitions Committees, and generous individuals and institutions in our community; ICP is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. |
